Unlike annuals, which die each winter and must be replanted each spring, perennials and grasses grow back from roots that go dormant in the soil in the winter. They can live 2 years and longer and bloom in either the spring, summer, or fall. They come in many varieties, shapes, colors, and sizes and make the perfect addition to any landscape.
